Who are we?

Greenscapes has been serving the Cambridge region for more than 30 years, supplying bulk landscaping products, gardening supplies, garden ornaments, building supplies - and fantastic advice.

While a lot has changed here over the years, our big Greenscapes building and iconic nikau palms still preside over the yard, and our attention to detail and quality of products has remained constant.

So whats changed? In 2010, GTT Mechanical was started out of a workshop behind the Greenscapes building by then owner Grant. GTT is still running as Cambridge's only heavy diesel mechanics. In 2018 Dave took over both businesses and founded the landscaping company Visionscapes Landscaping and Design, with the idea to make Greenscapes the one-stop-shop for all your landscaping needs.

Fast forward to now and its fantastic to see that vision has become a reality. We offer the complete service, from high-quality 3D design, to expert construction and landscaping of your property's yard and gardens. All items used on the job are sourced right here and we ensure only products of the highest quality are procured. We also have greenwaste and cleanfill disposal here too to dump any waste made on the job! (Did i mention our prices are better than the dump?).

There is no job too big or too small for the team here - whether its a couple concrete steps or a whole property transformation - Greenscapes has you covered.

Meet the team

Owner / Director

From 20 years in the Hospitality industry to now driving Trucks, diggers and creating Landscapes, Dave's like a kid in a Sandpit, but who says an old dog can't learn new tricks!
Dave and wife Amy along with their kids are super super proud of the team of people they have working within their 3 businesses. Visionscapes Landscaping, GTT Mechanical and Greenscape Garden supplies. Whether it be a beverage or two at the end of the week, fishing trips, dinners out and other adventures. Creating a great working environment and a great team has led to awesome growth for the businesses, not only in staff numbers but also personal growth amongst the staff has been a privilege to watch for Dave.
Dave loves getting stuck in with the teams on projects as well as lending a hand to the designs and while he's not so flash on a computer, Dave loves to show off his hand drawn concepts that he does up for clients. Dave enjoys watching the transformation of projects by the amazing hard working teams. A recent highlight was having all 3 businesses involved on a project, the landscape design, steel structures engineered, installation completed and landscape products supplied all in-house was an awesome moment.

A pup of many talents, Maggie loves travelling to a new sites with the landscapers, keeping the team on track and vigorously checking over all new work completed. When she's not keeping the team in order you'll find her doing security checks in the Greenscape's yard or boosting team morale in the GTT workshop. Quite often, she'll sit in on the morning toolbox meetings and ensures everyone knows what's happening for the day.

After a long & productive week at @landscapingHQ Maggie spends her time enjoying the sunshine, loves getting belly rubs and has a little dig in the garden to find old buried treasures.
